New President and Other Top Officers for Miami-Dade’s Teachers Union were sworn in Thurs. Evening, May 16

On Thursday evening, May 16, for the first time in nearly a decade, United Teachers of Dade, will have a new president. The gavel will pass from Karen Aronowitz to Fed Ingram, a high school band director and the 2006 Miami-Dade Teacher of the Year, who is still in his thirties. Ingram will lead the state’s largest teachers union.
United Teachers of Dade Donates Complete Interactive Classroom Technology to Two Teachers
Recently, United Teachers of Dade awarded complete interactive classroom technology set ups to two outstanding union members and teaching professionals, Christine Cintron and NBCT Kathleen Pham.
