| IPEGS 2008 - 2009 End of Year
Requirements
The
IPEGS requirements for the end of the 2008-2009 school year have been
simplified. The following are the end of the year requirements.
All
professionals in an IPEGS Pilot School will complete an IPEGS Summary
Form which will include only a one page summary highlighting both key
effective communication with students, family, staff, and other members
of the learning community, as well as professional
development/professional growth experiences which positively impacted
learner/program progress and/or your individual professional growth.
This replaces the requirement for the submission of a communication log
and a professional development/professional growth experiences log. No
additional documents will be submitted nor accepted. However,
supporting documentation must be maintained, electronically and/or
hardcopy by instructional personnel to be viewed if requested.
The
second form to be submitted will either be (BUT
NOT BOTH) the Revised Documentation Cover Sheet
which will include a summary of the end-of-year data results if the
professional completed the Goal Setting Process during the Pilot Year
OR (REPEAT OR) the
completed Individual Professional Development Form (IPDP) with the 4th
column (Evaluation) completed if the professional did the IPDP process
instead of the Goal Setting process.
Reminder: Everyone does the End of the Year Summary Form; however,
professionals submit either the Revised Documentation Cover Sheet or the
IPDP along with the Summary Form. Neither the Goal Setting nor the IPDP
will be used this year as part of the IPEGS evaluation process.
The
required IPEGS forms are due to the administrator ten calendar days
prior to the summative evaluation meeting.
The
REQUIRED FORMS have been attached for your ease, as well as the M-DCPS
Weekly Briefing explaining the IPEGS end of the year requirements.
